Be Loved

Avi is one of my favorite authors. He wrote the book Nothing But The Truth. I read it in fifth grade and was mesmerized by the quotation on the first page: Do you swear to tell the whole truth, the truth, and nothing but the truth so help you god?

I still think of that quote today. I have it memorized, word for word, and tend to find myself saying it under my breath every so often. I also think I'm very smart because the quote is the oath they ask you to take before you go up on a witness stand in court.

But, what I think really made me remember the quote was the quote underneath it. Does anyone say no?
