My most favorite movie of all time is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Now, I haven't been counting down in order of how I like the movie, but I just happened to hove my favorite movie as number one. Ah, Ferris, how I love thee! And I guess that's that. Number 100 to 1.

Number 2

I think being a roller derby girl would be cool. True, I would be eaten alive, but maybe I can become physically stronger then Gretchen...that's a big maybe. I never got to see Whip It in theaters, but I think Drew Berrymore did a good job with her directing debut. 

Number 3

We were talking about the upcoming sequel to Monsters Inc. today in Math. Apparently not everyone is as excited as I am. This movie is funny, the way the transferred everything over into the monsters world compared to the human world. Man, if I were a kid I'd just hop on over to the monster side and give them a real scare! (How da like me now!)

Number 4

"I shouldn't have seen that." - Stan

Gretchen and I watched this movie this summer. Aside from the really long opening credits, The Back Up Plan is a really good movie. Personally the opening credits are my favorite part, because the way a movie starts sets the whole mood, it's just like a book, if the first page is crap then the rest of the book is too, same logic with movies.

Ah, the lovely couple. I read some of the books before watching Sherlock Holmes, it was all quite funny. They have speedy back and fourths and these two (Holmes and Watson) can sometimes be very dumb about certain things that Irene Adler clues them in on. I recommend you watching it, but you'll probably have to re-watch it a few times to fully understand the theory.

Gretchen disagrees with my love of Wall-E, but who can't love robot romance? Mom just recently watched this for her first time (yea, it's sad) and at the end she was freaking out because...well I guess you just have to watch it!

Number 7

"What? This is my Snoop-dizzle look!" - Carter

What can I say? Hillary and I have a past, she played Lizzy Miguire, now I'm just happy when she plays anybody but a girl name Lizzy. Plus, A Cinderella Story is a cute movie.

Number 8

"I'm H2O intolerant." - Sheldon

Ah, so many good quotes from Finding Nemo, like "Dude, Mr.Turtle's my father.", "Just keep swimming!", "I didn't know you could speak whale!", and then the australian accents with "Hello, I'm Bruce." Pixar did an amazing job on this one. Gretchen had Dori, Nemo, and Marlyn on her cake one year for her birthday. I just love australian accents!

This is depressing....

Number 9

"Mmm... Murdered by pirates. Heart torn out and eaten. Meet Victoria. I can't quite decide which sounds more fun..." - Yvaine

Stardust was a really cute movie. Basically it's about this guy, Tristan, who is in love with this weird chick,Victoria, but to win her love he has to escort this fallen star girl, Yvaine, from one end of the kingdom to the other without being eaten by witches. If you have ever seen a romantic comedy then I'm sure you'll be able to figure out what come next.

Number 10

"You sure this is the right blind voodoo lady who lives in the boat in the tree in the bayou?" - Louis

OPRAH! hem..

I'm sure by now you can tell I'm a Disney fan (especially the princesses). Sure, they might be a little sexual or whatever they are claiming, but kids love the movies and you can't deny that. It's too bad that this was made the same year as Slumdog Millionaire otherwise it would have won the best musical number. Almost There is so much fun to belt out! (and When Were Human, Goin' Down The Bayou, and Dig a Little Deeper.)

Number 11

Virgil: You're 14 years old. You're 2 years away from your driver's license. You still call your underwear underpants. Yet I'm supposed to believe you can build a time machine?

Charlie: Yes. And based on my specifications, a person should be able to go 48 hours into the past.
Virgil: That's weak.
Charlie: Pardon me. How's YOUR time formula coming along? 

Okay, yes, Minutemen is a Disney Channel movie, but I love it! They go back in time. A little like Back to the Future, but modernized. Plus, their snowsuits are awesome! (so is the cat)

Claire: I think you understand why I'm saying you're a total idiot.

Charlie: Okay, okay, grand. Don't sugarcoat it.

Claire: I won't.

Letters to Juliet is a very cute movie. It's not necessarily like the normal romantic comedies, but i'm not saying it isn't either. The setting is amazing. I would love to go to Italy someday. Oh! Fun movie fact. The boyfriend of Sophie is played by Gael García Bernal, who just happens to be in The Motorcycle Diaries, which we just finished watching in Spanish. Also, this is Amanda's second time she's played a Sophie. (here and in Mama Mia)

Black Doug: Why not floories, right? 'Cause when you take 'em, you're more likely to end up on the floor than the roof. What about groundies? That's a good new name fo' 'em.

Alan: Or how 'bout rapies?

I talked about The Hangover once, and how I was thinking about it in church. You can read about it here. It's a really funny movie, with a really good/intelligent (well as intelligent as any movie where three guys lose one of there friends in Vegas can be) ending. Apparently 'nard dog' (from The Office and the one on the far right of the picture above) really got his tooth knocked out when he was younger and just had the false one taken out for the movie. So he was walking around with no tooth for a while. Got to give him credit, he really suffers for his rolls. 

Number 14

"Excuse me Miss, what color is Michael Jackson?" - Nick

I rented this movie (via apple TV) when Mom, Dad, and Gretchen went to the state fair and I do what I do best, watch movies and then sit around quoting them. It's quite funny if you don't mind the sick jokes and guy humor. The whole concept of going back in time through a time machine (thus the name Hot Tub Time Machine) is kinda' a funny idea. Though I am a little leery of going in one myself now.

Number 15

"You mean, you didn't just say: Stop the car, dear God, I beg of you, stop the car?" - Inspector Jacques Clouseau

Some of the most stupid things happen in this movie. The Pink Panther has a wonderful cast, I don't know how they can stand to be in some of the hilarious scenes with the 'inspector', I would just die.

Number 16

"You are a scholar, are you not? Judging from your diminished physique and large forehead, you are suited for nothing else!" - Princess Kida

A very good Disney made movie, Atlantis: The Lost Empire. It's on a few times during the year on disney channel. It's quite funny, with the weird dog man, and then the dude who is always fiddling with bombs, plus that tuff little chick. Princess Kida reminds me a little of Pocahontas.

Number 17

Harvey: Heh heh heh. Any psychotic ex-boyfriends I should be aware of?

Alfred: Oh, you have no idea.

Because what American doesn't like this movie? I'm a scaredy-cat and I even went to see The Dark Knight. I think Batman is my favorite hero, and only plausible one. I love the quote from above, poor Harvey.

Number 18

Yes, that is Brad Pitt. He did a wonderful portrayal of the younger brother in A River Runs Through It. It's such a poetic movie, but I don't want to give too much away. Plus, dudes will like it because it's basically all about fishing. Win-win.

Number 19

"Also cute and fluffy!" - Stitch

I only know a little hawaiian, A wiki wiki mai lohi lohi, and that I learned from Disney's Lilo & Stitch. It's a sad movie in the beginning, poor Lilo and her sister (Nina) are trying to live life after losing their parents and then Stitch escapes from an intergalactic research lab... It's all very crazy and confusing to explain, just watch it.

Will: They still haven't come up with one yet. But I'm sure they're working on it.

The most beautiful movie ever, Definitely, Maybe is so adorable! Courtney and I watched it on the plan ride to Florida and I just have never been able to get it off my mind, it's a beautiful love story between a dad and a daughter and a man and a women.
