Po-po Shut Us Down, Down

pedicure on our toes, toes
Trying on all our clothes, clothes
Boys blowing up our phones, phones
Drop-topping, playing our favorite cd's
Pulling up to the parties
This really sums up my weekend....

Fishing for Complements

I never realized how much girls like Coach shoes, until I got some. About a year ago I was at MOA (mall of america for you un-minnesota folk) with my mom and sister. I thought these shoes were cool (they were white and lime green) so I tried them on and got them. It wasn't until I got home that Gretchen (my sister) told me they were Coach shoes.

Now they aren't as white, more of a tan color and I've had to have Dad super glue the tip of one because the sole started peeling back. Yea, they aren't the best shoes I ever bought, but everyone else thinks so.

Countless times I have been wearing the grossest outfit, but random people (well not hobos off the street) will complement my shoes. Just yesterday I was sitting in Spanish and Dani, right before class started, told me she liked my shoes. Iv'e had girls from English and even people in video (who I will not name, but just say that they need a personality overhaul) have complemented my shoes. It's the weirdest thing.....what would be even weirder was if a guy complemented them.

What? With Who?

Just realized something. If Snape is gay, then who else at Hogwarts is gay? I know that (according to J.K. Rowling and Wikipedia) Dumbledor had a crush on Grindelwald who he ended up killing because he went mad with power.....but that, my friends, is a whole other story.

Possible people Snape would be 'doing'
-Dumbledor
-Professor Flitwick
-Hagrid
-Malfoy (he has an odd relationship with him...)
-Crab and Goyle (if not Malofy)
-Professor Querrel
-Voldemort?

I don't think I'll ever be able to read Harry Potter in the same mind frame again....

Brother From Another Mother

He
told me about
everything and
I cared
Love
was an option
for a while,
but not now
The Pain
came slowly
and still
hasn't left
Remembering
is hard not to do
especially when I'm
in my room
The Lesson
i've learned is
one I'll never forget

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He
lit up my world
and allowed me to
believe in lies
Love
what I thought
it was
he didn't
The Pain
is unbearable
there's no one
to blame, but him
Remembering
when I felt
normal and when
I didn't know him
The Lesson
I never needed
came sooner than
I wanted
S: please tell me why you call me Snape!
L: nope....evil glare
S: what's your problem?
L: you're gay....and you really need to fix your nose, i'm not kidding. okay, now go cry in the bathroom.
S: how did you know I was gay?
L: darling, believe me i have my sources.
I hate you Snape. Not the actor the other one.
In Deep
Finally, they were going to do it.
He pulled her onto the bed on top of him. Staring up from the soft mattress he tried to take in everything so he would never forget.
The bus’ brown seats were bland. Outside the season was in the awkward period of changing from fall to winter. Sighing he looked back down at his ipod and scrolled thru the playlist, nothing was looking good today.
Suddenly he felt something on his head, he turned around. A girl with brown hair and green eyes was staring down at him. She smiled and blushed.
“Sorry.” She said.
He took out his ear buds and smiled back at her.
“No problem.” He said back.
He looked into her green eyes and leaned in to kiss her. She eagerly unbuttoned his shirt. Placing her hand in the middle of his chest sent chills up his back. Rolling over he reluctantly let her hand released from his.
“Your saving yourself?”
“I just don’t want to do it with someone until I love them.” She looked back at him with a suborn expression. Her eyes squinting up at him.
“Fine.” He looked away towards the lake they were walking around. She hugged herself to keep warm in the damp fogy weather. Turning towards her he stopped and pulled her close.
“What are you doing?” she said her stubborn eyes searching his face.
He smile. “Kissing you.” He said and leaned forward.
The sheets and pillows were on the floor along with their clothes. Both of them were silent. They were the only two people on earth.
Only seven more days, he thought in third hour science. Only seven more days. He drummed his fingers on his textbook. Turning around he mouthed to her what he was thinking. Blushing she turned back to assignment unwilling the acknowledged that she was thinking about that to.
Her bedroom smelled of a sweet flower. He breather in the smell from the bed. She was asleep, and would be until morning. She was facing away from him, still naked, mouth open and silently snoring.
He couldn’t bring himself to wait until tomorrow morning. Slowly getting up he groped around in the dark to find his cloths. Leaving only his shirt, she could have it to remember forever like he would.
Walking over to the window he opened it and slipped out unnoticed by anyone.
“Mom, please.” He had a serious ton in his voice.
Looking at her son she sighed.
“3,000 miles?” He turned away from her.
“Yep.”
Iv'e been thinking about my conversation with Courtney on Saturday. I talked about things I had 'swept under the rug' and now I can't stop thinking about it. I wrote this at the beginning of the school year. It just seems appropriate.
Game Not Over Until You Win
"Three chairs faced Mr. Thornhill's Desk."
"My car, said the Vice Principal."
"Your getting the bear."
"Beware of the Ides of March"
"The coyote"
"Callie: Your parkas in the dryer."
"I'm afraid there's nobody here by that name."
"How could she live with her fathers parent's when they were killed in a car accident on her sixth birthday?"
"Pull the fire alarm?"
"Maybe we should lose the baret."
"Why is punk rock for losers today only?"
"....wasn't exactly a great way to start the day."
"You mean he's in a coma?"
"...holmes shook his head gravely...."
"I can't believe she did this-she's only twelve."
You need to read this, amazing.
A Well Needed Toilet Brush
Well, shake it up baby now
Twist and shout
Come on, come on, come
Come on baby now
Come on and work it on out
Well work it on out, honey
You know you look so good
You know you got me goin' now
Just like I know you would
Well, shake it up baby now
Twist and shout
Come on, come on, come
Come on baby now
Come on and work it on out
You know you twist, little girl
You know you twist so fine
Come on and twist a little closer now
And let me know that you're mine, woo
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Yeah, shake it up baby now
Twist and shout
Come on, come on, come
Come on baby now
Come on and work it on out
You know you twist, little girl
You know you twist so fine
Come on and twist a little closer now
And let me know that you're mine
Well shake it, shake it, shake it, baby now
Well shake it, shake it, shake it, baby now
Well shake it, shake it, shake it, baby now
Ah, ah, ah, ah.
Nail polish fixes everything, thanks Courtney.
I just watched Ferris Buellers Day Off, thus the song.
Louis
I have decided to name my laptop (after many month's of trying to find the right one) Louy. This came upon suddenly, today, when Ragan, Gretchen, and I went to Leap Year.
The film was amazing. Don't let the stuck up snobs at Rotten Tomatoes (the movie review site) tell you any different, it was amazing. The actors were perfect and the scrip was so funny Gretchen chocked on her sweat tarts while laughing. Music, extraordinary and it fit the feel of the movie so well. And the set.....ahhh.....they filmed in Ireland which, to say the least, was a grand idea. Look at me, I'm typing Irish.
Her suit case in the movie is a Louis Vitton. When the guy is handling it roughly she tells him it's a 'louy' as if that would make a total difference to a small town Irish man. It doesn't and he thinks she named the suit case Louy.
I had tons of fun tonight and today, I just love spending time with Ragan, it's always so much fun. Nora and I have decided to move to Venice, Italy. It's a perfect place, right in the middle of the Mediterranean! Now, I just have to start planning on where to visit.
Bad Dates
I met "Snape" today. Yea, totally not her someday guy. He is a bit slow....but at least he understood we had some sort of inside joke going on. Sadly (for him) he'll never be worthy of her. That's all right, he thinks I'm nuts and well it would make for awkward conversation when we'd go to a group movie.
S: hey
L: hi
S: so.....rocks back and fourth on feet....why do you call me Snape?
L: sorry, you might cry if I told you the truth.
S: come on
L: okay, God told me to.
S: what?
L: no. your nose looks like the actor who plays Snape in the Harry Potter movie. munches on popcorn. You might want to think about getting that fixed.
Then I'd have to explain to her why her date is in the bathroom crying.
Step Right Up!
"Simultaneously, they turned and looked at the barn at the back of Spencer's yard."
"She took a step back, Ali was gone."
"Em, it's just a hallucination."
"Isn't PSTD the thing soldiers get?"
"Viel Glück! (that's german for 'good luck')"
"Public calls for Pretty Little Liars to take polygraphs"
"...smiling at her, like he'd been waiting for her to do that for years."
"I'm sorry things got cut short tonight. I can't wait to be alone with you again."
"She wants to hurt you just like she already hurt me."
"Don't be angry at him for what you did. What all of you did."
"The only guilty one here is you."
"That's a good one....considering you're under arrest."
"Gotcha! Who's laughing now?"
"Kisses, -A"
What book am I reading?
Sång om ingenting
So, you might have noticed the music I put up recently. And you also probably have noticed (unless your like unobservant) that the music isn't in english. Yes, I know that it's not in english, but I can understand it. I (unlike most of you) can speak and understand Norwegian. The music isn't really norwegian, it's swedish, but it's so close that it's crazy.
The the first song is called Sång om ingenting by Kobojarna. (music video-very funny!)
det här är en sång om ingenting
så alla bratz kan hoppa omkring
e på klubben, dricker skumpa
och alla brudar tar på min rumpa
Which translates to...
This is a song about nothing
So all the girls can jump around
We are at the club drinking bubbly
All brides are looking at my butt
Just thought you might want to know. I really like the song.
Mondays
Tonight I watched Chuck and Heroes. Ahh, how I have waited for that. I look forward to these two shows all Monday. Today we didn't have school, but I still couldn't wait. They are both completely different, but still totally amazing!
Adam Monroe is my favorite character. Even though he's a villain I think he's totally cool. He was on tonights episode even though he died in season three. The beauty of science fiction, people can reappear. I think Nathan Petrelli has died six times, so I'm waiting a little bit to see if he comes back form the dead....again.
Mohinder Suresh is mom's favorite, she thinks he's way cooler than Adam, but she has only just begun to watch the show. She's doesn't know the difference.....he might be a hero, but he's done bad things.
I'm worried about my spanish final......
Liz's Comment
So, remember when I posted the story about the women who read in the fishing boat? Well, I told you I found the website where it came from and that it was called Liz's Blog. Very nice name by the way. I made a comment and guess what she commented back!
I think I found another blog to stalk.....
Let's Play....
"..perfectly normal, thank you very much."
"Experts are unable to explain why the owls have suddenly changed their sleeping pattern."
"Instead he was smiling at a very severe looking women who was wearing square glasses exactly the shape of the markings the cat had around it's eyes."
"Would you care for a lemon drop" "A what?"
"Don't ask questions - that was the first rule..."
"...baggy old clothes and broken glasses..."
"an' a thumpin' good'un, I'd say, once yeh've been trained up a bit."
"Some say he died. Codswallop, in my opinion."
"Yes, thirteen-and-a-half inches."
"Oh, him. I mean, yes, I am."
"Five, I'm the sixth in the family..."
"The boy who kept loosing his toad."
"I'll eat myself if you can find a smarter hat then me."
"Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!"
"At the very end of the corridor hung a portrait of a very fat women in a pink silk dress."
Time to play What Book Am I Reading? I have fifteen quotes, now you have to try and guess what book it is I am reading.
Liz Is A Great Name
One morning a husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, his wife decides to take the boat out.
She motors out a short distance, drops anchor and begins to read her book.
Along comes a gamekeeper in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says,
"Good morning, ma'am. What are you doing?"
"Reading a book," she replies.
"You're in a restricted fishing area," he informs her.
"I'm sorry, Officer, but I'm not fishing, I'm reading."
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."
"If you do that, I 'll have to charge you with sexual assault,"says the woman.
"But I have not even touched you," says the gamekeeper.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment."
"Have a nice day, ma'am," he said, and left.
Today in english Mr.Schield read this aloud. I found it here Liz's Blog. Story.
Tessa's Playlist
Just started listening to Tessa's playlist, it's really good. I think I can see myself permanently listening to songs like this. I'm only on number three, it's called My Friend John by The Fratellis.
My Friend John was the serious one
Buttoned up the book and the job half done
Lazy old boy when the good girls turn
His teeth get itchy and his rubber souls burn
When will he ever learn?
I have two tests tomorrow. I should start studying, but I don't really want to. I should also start studying for the Spanish final. You know, I'm not that nervous. I know how to conjugate in the future and all I need to know is some of the vocabulary and the irregular verbs, but that's easy, just study from now until Tuesday. Yep, the fourth to go! Then only one final on Wednesday. Two on Thursday and one on Friday. Easy as pie!
Today I did part 2 of the English final. I didn't get to see Courtney at lunch! I miss her so much! We only ate lunch twice this week together, it's not the same without her.....The final was to write a personal narrative and tie it into one of the books you've read this semester. Maybe some other time I'll tell you about it, but I really don't like sharing about Susan.
...Need Sleep...
I stayed up until 12:30 this morning. Though I wasn't asleep until, at least, 1. Then today, during sixth hour, Mrs. Drew just talked to us the whole hour and then we didn't show our movies.....eye twitch....
I'm gonna' bring season one of Gilmore Girls to Hannah tomorrow. We were talking about it on the bus and she didn't know what I was saying half the time because she hasn't seen half of the seasons. So, I'm staring her from the beginning. At least I can un-deprive someone in the world of Gilmore Girls.
I just finished watching the NCIS episode from last night. I prefer watching them on the real TV, but at least I got to see it! The wonders of technology.
The Spanish final is freaking me out, I want to study, but then I don't want to study. Blgg, I also have to sign up for classes. I think I'm gonna' take pre-calculus, who cares about FST? Not me.
Just Keep Editing, Just Keep Editing....
Today Mrs. Drew got angry, well not angry per-say, but annoyed, with our video class. There wasn't a reason not to, the people in the class (well not all of them) were goofing off. They would run into the other room, blow up a balloon, and then race back into the classroom and pop the balloon. Yea, real mature....
She's told us that she wasn't going to except any excuses for the decade project. She also said that she was willing to give out zero's.
So, that's why Kayla and I spent most of the afternoon on the phone and that's why she's gonna' come over right now and that's why I can't watch NCIS.
Thanks guys, video was reeeeal fun today....
Remember
Captain Awesome
Chuck was awesome last night. The whole Sara and Chuck thing is getting a little boring, they are never going to be able to really love each other, not unless they do runaway. Oh well, at least Casey is there for comic relief. Tonight there was another one, sadly Morgan was't in it. I love Morgan.
Who do you like better?
Shawn and Gus (Psych)
Tony and McGee (NCIS)
Chuck and Morgan (Chuck)
Papa Dragon
Avatar was amazing. I went to see it with Kayla yesterday. We were just going to see it in 2D at the Woodbury 10 Theater, but then due to some stupid direction from Map Quest, she was 45 minutes late. Then we went to Oakdale to see a later showing of it. That, was amazing! We didn't know we would see it in 3D until the dude gave us the special glasses. It was amazing, great job James Cameron.
My Resloution
New year's resolutions. I usually don't make them, and I really don't know why. Sometimes I do, but really it's like, why? I don't end up doing them anyway or I don't think I need to improve on anything. This year I am making a resolution: be nicer to Meheer.
The plays went really well again, but a tougher crowed. They laughed, but last nights was better. The phone worked tonight, great job kiely! I'm gonna' miss everyone, I hate that it's over.
"I love your blog, it's so cute!" - Mikaela. Gracias, love you darling, you make my day!
Churck starts tomorrow, it's the season premier. Courtney has been watching the second season this past week, it's really good. I can't wait! Tomorrow at 8! Wade agrees, it's amazing, if you haven't seen it you're deprived of life.
They Be Cool
It's like sledding.
You're at the top of the hill and you don't want to slide down the slipperly slop, but you hop in the sled and slip down all the while loving every nerve-wracking minute of it. Then at the bottom you can breath and say, again again.
The play was the bomb, we were the best by far. It's amazing.
Sorry Meheer, I am really mean to you. I think I should work on that because all you said about me was that I was mean to you and you complemented everyone else. Thanks buddy...
Just In A Days Work
It's been go, go, go since 2:15 today. Once that bell rang after 6th hour it was like a marathon.
The director (Alison) said she was going to ask if we could go first for rehearsals because we went really late last night. We all get into the theater and are looking at costumes when we hear that were going to practice last! Apparently there was a list in the dressing room that said the order we would practice in today was the way we would have it during the shows. It also said we had to be done by 5 because at 5:15 there was a meeting in the auditorium.
We think it's all good, you know we'll at least be out by 5. So we hang in the dressing room for a while and chug some energy drinks. Those tasted like medicine. Gross, and then Kayla was eating some of my goldfish and a quesadilla. We then watched Petars play (he's from Surbia) and that was interesting. And he started his sean all over. Then Kayla said she felt sick and I then started feeling sick too.
I calmed myself down by saying it's just because someone else is sick so I'm just making this all up. Kayla, on the other hand, raced to the bathroom. She turned out okay, but the energy drinks weren't a good idea. We then decided to practice in the choir room. There we found Adrain, Kiely, and Meheer super hyper. They had found the energy drinks. That was an energetic practice.
It's like 10 to 5 and we still aren't on. They fourth play is in the beginning stages and our play is 20 minutes long. Harry (the theater manager) says we can go up until 5:15. At 5:03 we race on stage and place all of our props in the correct places. Then it's curtain call.
I go out and almost forget my line, but make a nice save thanks to Adrain's look. Then I get off for a while and call mom to give her another update. As I walk towards Sam and the girl who plays the Techie (I can't remember her name, but she's really cool) they look scared. Then the techie girl says, "They've said that line twice, they don't know where they are."
On stage Kiely and Mikaela are doing their sean. To both got mixed up somehow and were confused at where they were. Kiely picks up a scrip (a prop and it's also part of the play) and tries to ad-lib a few things, but eventually whispers (loudly) to Adrian WHAT'S THE LINE.
RRRIIIING! RING RING! I yell loudly. Sam and Techie girl look at me like I'm crazy. I'm not supposed to do it here. Kayla (jumping at the chance) races across stage and says "Hello Jason, how did the Wikerman account go?" Which cues me to come on stage and say "Sorry my bad."
By then Kiely and Mikaela know where they are and Kiely just goes with it. During the time where I really need to ring the phone. I tell Sam to keep on going after I ring it so it's just like the stage manager screwed up again and that it's part of the play. I do just that and Kayla (being the amazing actress she is) jumps up and pick up the phone. "STOP CALLING US!" She screams, it was perfect.
I also got to play the director. That was fun, the girl wasn't there and I had fun fake crying on stage. Then I up and left, but as I walked out of the dressing room I saw Kayla laying on the floor dead and Meheer run off stage to kill himself. I yell BANG (because I was supposed to) and then leave.
Once in the car I remember I have the last line in the play, but Mom needs to get to dance so it's too late.
I also went to the school board meeting, but i'll save that for later.
Hola Harry
I wish I could find a media converter that worked with macs. Sadly, dad is even having trouble and he's like a genius with computers (granted I am better with macs) so it's obviously gonna' be a long hard road. I need the media converter for my video for video class. Were supposed to make a video about the past 10 years. And were supposed to use video, audio, and pictures. There has to be 20 things from the u.s. and 2 from our own lives. The 20 from the u.s. isn't the problem, but the 2 from my life....what and I going to choose?
The play is bomb! As I was reading the scrip while everyone was acting and saying their lines it was just PERFECT! We didn't do as well during dress rehearsal, but we hadn't practiced on stage very much or worked on cues from the stage. It was all a little confusing and nerwracking, but I'm confident we'll do well!
I had a gross in class essay test today. I think I did pretty good on it, but he's a hard grader (in my experience) and I'm just a bit nervous about that. I hope he goes a little easy because it was in class. I had to substitute words for my sophisticated words because I didn't know how to spell them....sad...
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is amazing, it always makes me happy when I read it.
Spanish Speaking American
NCIS is on tonight, I hope it's a good one. I haven't seen any for a while (you know they went on a winter break) and I really need to. Abby and MaGee are tied for my favorite, they both are so funny. Tony on the other hand is, well stupid. Ziva (personally) freaks me out. She's super cool though. THEY ARE NOT TIVA! (goodness how stupid can people get?)
We were supposed to have a really big english test today. It was an in class written exam. The teacher was gone today so this kid made fun of his for the rest of the hour. Poor teacher. I like him, he's nice, but I don't like the vocabulary tests every three weeks, stupid.
I should finish my character essay so I can watch NICS. I did talk for over 20 minutes in Spanish with Gretchen!
I'm worried about our play, I hope everyone knows their lines by tomorrow.
My Aching Back!
Boy am I tired. It really hit me today when we were putting up the extended stage for the plays on Friday. Man do I need to go to bed. Play practice was fun aside from that. I did my indian (as in the country India) accent for tons of people because I do it better than the actor who is supposed to have the accent. Yea, I rock!
I started writing my character essay. I don't think it will be anything amazing, but it will be at lest an A-. It's about self control and three ways to exercise it. Prrrety amazing....yep...
Got a text from a friend. I'm gonna' pray for them and their family. Can you do that too? They really need it. Man am I glad I have a good family.
I wish I could play sims.
Sunday, January 3, 2010
Goodby Break, You Will be Missed
I stayed in my pajamas until 4:45 pm today. I really didn't want to do anything, the only reason why I got dresses was for play practice. I didn't really want to go, but I had a blast when I got there. I always have fun practicing. I really hope the play turns out well. Cross your fingers.
School tomorrow. I'm gonna have some homework tomorrow night. That means no time for sims. At least I could play some this break, of course it was like only two days. Man that game is addicting, I don't know how people can't play it.
I asked mom if I could just live in the basement for the rest of my life. She said no, but I think if I really (truly) wanted to should would let me, she's cool like that. There's just too much pressure to do well and to figure out what you want to do in life. I'm not really sure what I want to do, sure there is directing, but do I really want to do that???
I have to remember to sign up for classes soon. I really don't know what I want to take next year. I also have to write an essay tomorrow, I find that if it's about something I like than the whole process goes so much better. I'll see how I do tomorrow.
Green Apples
Sitting in Ragan's living room on the rocking chair I couldn't think of a place I would rather be at than there. Nora and Ragan always make me feel so...alive?...I guess that's the word. Not that I'm not when their not around, but I really enjoy their company. Nora won Apples to Apples by like, a million. I loved the fudge Ragan gave to me, but I have a feeling that once I place it out on the counter Gretchen and Dad will have eaten it all by the next day, but hey, do I expect any less? :)
Finally I cleaned up my bedroom, it was a pig sty. I don't remember it ever getting this dirty, well more like messy. There were like mountains of clothes and some of them were clean. Yea, the Appalachinan mountains moved into my bedroom. When I was cleaning I saw Ferris Bueller's Day off, I really want to watch that again. Best Christmas gift ever, thanks Gretchen!
I leave you on theses two notes:
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen, I am the walrus, Goo goo g' joob!
Please Don't Explode...
"Well I'm glad to get 2009 out of the way."
That's what my eleven-year-old cousin told me as we were racing up and down her street reining in the new year. There is a fireworks display each year by her house so that was popping and booming behind us.
It was so pretty....if only I had a better word.
Earlier tonight we went sledding on this steep, steep hill. Mom and I went down together and man was that wild! I closed my eyes and it was just a series of big bumps. Mo told me she about peed her pants.
It was so cold that my eyelashes would freeze and I would have to squint my eyes to warm them up. I was thinking it would be a good thing to do a descriptive writing for. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Well, here's to 2010 and the next decade. Let's hope it doesn't end in 2012.
