Reaction-more
I'm sure you all wanted another one.
This was my reaction not 20 minutes ago when I read Christina's post. I' glad you have a wing man you can count on.
(confession: I love doing these things...!)

A La Past
At the end of last week I happened upon a few old photos of Gretchen and I on the home server. The picture above is of Gretchen playing mini-golf in Arizona. I thought it was perfect considering she spent the last week in Arizona.
I'm above, not sure where it is exactly. Just that I had those shoes and that swim suit top when I was in second grade. (making the photo from the summer of 2002)
Gretchen arrived home tonight, or well day now. I haven't gone to bed yet, so I'll say she arrive home tonight. She had a few stories and a few things she had gotten for herself, but nothing for the family. I know this sounds a bit greedy, but this is a blog and I want to express my feelings. I really wish she would have gotten something for us. I always get my family something when I go on vacation without them.
Though I should have seen this coming, when I went to Florida with Courtney and they went to Texas I got nothing where as I gave them gifts. I don't know about you, but I feel that it's a nice thing to do, buying a gift for the poor family members left behind during your vacation. Perhaps I should just suck it up. Okay.

So, St.Olaf
I, not being Christina, am now just blogging about my visit to St.Olaf. I saw her and it was awesome! I also saw Kim (mother) and Austin Sovell.
I guess I don't have to feel to bad because Christina is writing a hood-like essay for school. The only work she's done in a week for school, according to her. Personally I think she needs to just turn it in and deal with it.
So, St.Olaf, why I crawled out of my hole to blog about. I need some inspiration for blogging, any tips?
BAD Liz, yet again off topic! Okay, so the school was gorgeous! It also had the best free food, there were buffet tables all over the place, you literally walked into a room and there was a buffet table. No other school has done that. Though they did brag about their nationally ranked number one food. All according to Newsweek.
What I really enjoyed was that the dean of the school talked at the beginning of the whole thing. It was nice to be welcomed like that, gave you the feeling of beine wanted as a person and not as another paying student.
Ah, yes! A picture of the library. My favorite thing to see at colleges. Not the best (U of M is number one so far) but I can see myself doing homework in there. Plus the tall windows give off the feeling of being in one of those older libraries.
What I wasn't a huge fan of was how far away everything was from each other. Reminded me of camp a bit where we walked all the time. It's not a bad thing, getting exercise, but in the winter running across campus (and in the windy rural area) will not be fun.
Another plus, all four years you live on campus. I really like that, a sense of community and such, cookies for St.Olaf.
By far the best part was the gift shop where I got socks that say 'uff da' (so Norwegian) and there were Norwegian like things all over the place! Oh, how I love Norway! Plus, Harry Potter in NORWEGIAN! My favorite! I have the first one in English and Norwegian, but seeing the others in Norwegian totally made the trip. (I'm so studying it what ever collage I choose to go to)

KA-POW!
I say this as I sit on a yoga ball in my batman t-shirt all ready for bed, I am a big fan of comics. This means I absolutely love Sunday mornings when I can go down stairs and read the four pages of comics our paper gives me.
Seriously, sure save the planet in some other section give me back my six pages of comics!
The rest of the week I spend in withdraw from lack of comics, but I have been able to reduce this stress by finding comics that are updated on the web. Like this one.

Lest I Could Do is updated every day by Ryan Sohmer (writer) and Lar Desouza (illustrator) and yes, it's very guy oriented, but I still get a laugh our of the comic. It's sexual, who wouldn't?

Computer Sci.
I just finished watching it, I have considered becoming something in the computer field, because I find it fascinating and i'll be surrounded by intelligent people. (and you know I don't like dumb people) But i'm on Mark's side, the twins are stupid and I hope that Eduardo and Mark came to terms with each other, because I really liked Eduardo.
He had a crazy girlfriend, I wouldn't have treated him like that. What nerd would cheat on his hot girlfriend?

Adults?
Okay, so umm....yea. I realize I have some explaining to do. Ya, know with the above picture and all. Wonder Women and Super Girl are making out, and have some things hidden by my green stars that I plopped in before uploading it. I know it's a bit more....interesting....then my normal posts. I usually don't have naked lesbian pictures, but it's not really the picture, but what it represents that drew me to it.
Even though both super heroes above have been know for having affairs with women it's fun to know in at least one persons (granted probably a sick teenage/middle aged man's) mind they are together. It shows that the two aren't afraid of being themselves, they'll spend the night together and then go and fight evil. Pretty awesome.
Also, for some reason, I find lesbian couples like this adorable (lesbian, not gay, LESBIAN!), meaning not the buch type, no offence this is so stereotypical and I apologize right now.

Officially Fall
I know it's not officially Fall until September 22ed, but if you walk outside you'll see that it's Fall. The smell of crisp leaves in the air and the wind is starting to sting more then cool you off. The stores know this too. All of the Fall sales and magazines showing the Fall fashion lines. It's perfect weather for fashion. Cold enough to wear long pants, but warm enough not to have to bundle up in big parkas that ruin the outfit. Ah, I just love this time of year, aside from the whole school business. Yuck.
