La Biblioteca

I have no words for how funny this is. Plus, it's 40 seconds so you should all be able to watch it. Especially the people who are taking Spanish.

If You Had The Voice

Okay, so some of you might know/remember that Paul McCartney was honored in the Kennedy Honors this past month. Now, if you had to, which Beatles song would you perform for Paul.

And let's say your a great singer and were confident and such. You know, amazing. And let's also say that when you finished he stood up and gave you a round of applause.
I think I'd sing Day Tripper or Eleanor Rigby.

Kitty Kat

Ain't that just adorable! Even if your not a cat person you have to admit that little kitty looks adorable, and quite pimpin'. (yet, another reason to buy a cat calendar...)

I wore my University of Northern Arizona sweatshirt (don't worry Meghan, it's only for the warmth not the school) yesterday because I just crawled out of bed and into some clothes. I wanted to be warm, but I really wasn't. A tank top and a sweatshirt doesn't keep me warm. I don't know about you, but in this weather it's not enough layers.

I looked like scum, and then with my kinda' curly hair that was all knotted in the back, I was a real winner. These stupid sophomores in math were making me paranoid, I think they were talking about me....so I wore something cute today.
This is what I should have looked like, but I just hadn't gotten around to washing/brushing my hair since Sunday when I did this.

Tru Dat!

Hot Flashes

I figure, I've already posted stuff that's worse then this, so why not?

Because of recent events (seeing the movie No Strings Attached, and being in a certain 'mood') I've created a period mix for myself.

Great, now I've crossed the line. My blog has officially become gross.

Voice Over

Gretchen and I enjoy creating thoughts for the guys in Ask This Old House. You know, it's a mini series part of the show This Old House. Some of the stupid looks on their faces tell us so much. Like that they really have feelings for one and other, or that they want to stop filming to take a smoke.
Usually the homeowners are made out to look stupid. Though their thoughts are usually along the lines of kicking out the TV crew and proving that they are not incompetent.

Do you ever  make up thoughts or lines for people on TV?

Friday Night Movie

Tonight Mom, Gretchen, and I went to No Strings Attached. Which I have to give a very good rating to. It's completely different then most romantic comedies, yes they get together, but not everything is like the usual 'recipe' for a movie like this.
My favorite line: "If you come any closer, I'm never going to let you go."

Also, something funny, Gretchen read in the news paper (after we had seen the movie) that Calvin Kline played Natalie Portman's father in the movie, when really Calvin Kline played Ashton Kutcher's father. I don't know it was weird, the newspaper getting in wrong....sad really, that's what it is.

Ferris Me Amore!

Does this picture remind you of something?
Yes! My favorite all time movie, Ferris Buller's Day Off. Ah, how I love that movie.

AWKWARD!

I remember telling Meghan and Courtney I couldn't ever remember how to spell awkward. Then they went skipping along the hallway singing the letters. Well, Courtney skipped, Meghan just kinda' picked up the pace. (you know, she doesn't want to seem like a happy sulky teenager) Anyway, I always remember that when I'm spelling awkward. And I always get it right.

Today I spelt the word awkward when responding to a facebook e-mail. AJ from video class had messaged me saying he gave his friend my blog link (because I apparently told him I had a blog....yikes I must be really weird in that class) and it just happened to be on the day I posted....that one post. And yea, he asked what 'type of blog I had going' because I'm not apparently the porn master of the video class. What a job to aspire to.
Anyway, I figured I need to put some happy pictures up!

One Vote

Due to the one vote to keep the below type of posts coming, here we have Captain Awesome (a.k.a Devon from Chuck) in his halloween costume. He's Adam, as in Adam and Eve from the bible.
If you like his outfit, then you should see Ellie's.

Adults?

Okay, so umm....yea. I realize I have some explaining to do. Ya, know with the above picture and all. Wonder Women and Super Girl are making out, and have some things hidden by my green stars that I plopped in before uploading it. I know it's a bit more....interesting....then my normal posts. I usually don't have naked lesbian pictures, but it's not really the picture, but what it represents that drew me to it.

Even though both super heroes above have been know for having affairs with women it's fun to know in at least one persons (granted probably a sick teenage/middle aged man's) mind they are together. It shows that the two aren't afraid of being themselves, they'll spend the night together and then go and fight evil. Pretty awesome.

Also, for some reason, I find lesbian couples like this adorable (lesbian, not gay, LESBIAN!), meaning not the buch type, no offence this is so stereotypical and I apologize right now.

Un-potty Trained Puppy

Meghan informed me today that her book report in front of the class didn't go very well.
This is for you Meghan.

Le Crappy

Okay, so I'm way off schedule. I don't really feeling like doing the webassign, and so I'm not going to do it because it takes too long and I just don't want to think that hard right now. I might get a 24% on it, but hey, I basically get 100% on all the others, it shouldn't change my grade drastically.

In high school you learn which battles to fight, and apparently it's the same as a parent.

Peace out (as Meghan would say) I'm going to take a shower.

Give Me A Gift

Today when I got home I went to bed right away, just for a little hour nap. I told Dad to wake me up in an hour and I preceded to sleep for two and a half hours. Yea, Dad left for his hair appointment without telling Mom to wake me.

The next thing I know I'm being jolted awake by Mom saying it's six. I thought it was morning, and was depressed until I wrapped my mind around everything. Then I was sad that I hadn't finished my dream. Nora had sent me a big package with tons of presents (all for me), but I hadn't gotten to the opening part before I was awaken.

Reality vs. Virtuality

If only life was like The Sims video game.
Sims only mourn for so many days after a loved one dies. Their energy can be refilled by a cheat code. Cheat codes can also give them the money and job they want. Their wants are also practical. Plus, they have the slap option if they get really angry at a spouse if they cheat on them. But mostly it would mean that I could just click over to someones relationship panel and see how much they like a certain person.

Closet

No, I'm not talk about the metaphorical closet, I'm talking about my real physical closet. I recently noticed I have a lot of dull colors in my closet. I think that the clothing stores get together and say 'lets not sell people clothes with color until middle of April' because you know, they have nothing better to do.
I think i'm going to wear something red tomorrow, thanks Meghan.

Cat Calendar

Okay, I know I was talking about leaning towards the cat calendars in the stores during December (post), but it just hit me. I HAVE a cat calendar, well my 2010 calendar is of cats doing yoga. Yea, don't ask why...
Any who, I need a calendar, so that's going on my list of things to do this weekend that I should have done over winter break, right below the English extra credit.

One Year

Exactly one year a go I started this blog with no intentions. Here we are a year later and I've actually stuck to something! I've officially become a blogger! Well, I think that was established long ago, but I'm quite proud of myself.

I wonder what this year brings? Only one more year until 2012 and the 'end of the world'. *dramatic music*
Did you know 2011 is the year of the rabbit?
