This is it.
The end of my blog.
Not that it's the end of me in anyway.
Mom and I are in my room packing for Alaska and Gretchen is talking to Dad from her bedroom door.
I'm leaving them each a present on my bed, then when they come home they'll see them and I'll have already left.
Love you all.

Housekeeping
I've waited three(ish) years to use that title for a post, and now is as good as time as any.
This is something that I have thought a lot about, and it's something that I think needs to be done. I will be retiring this blog on the 12th of June. So, a week from now I will no longer post anything. I would like to finish on a complete full year, but that's the first of January, which is in the middle of school and in an awkward time socially and personally so I think ending this 'high school' blog would best be finished with the end of my high school years and the beginning of my college experience.
I'll be taking you with me on my voyage for the next week on the upcoming craziness that will ensue because of it. And with Meghan freaking out over a speck of paint I think we all need to have a good happy thing to look forward to, and put the shower crying sessions behind us.
Here is some more things I've been meaning to post for a while.
Amy Pond! I have been getting into Trock (time lord rock) and recently been trying to explain Doctor Who to people recently. Not sure why...
Who can deny this women who single handily gave us the right to wear pants? Thank you Coco!
This is an amazing picture, how did they take it? Look at it!
Not sure why I have this picture anymore, took me to long to blog about it, but apparently it was funny at some point. Go Nerdfitghters!
The above needs no explanation.

The dress i'll be wearing for graduation kinda reminds me of this dress worn by Emma Watson. That's basically why I bought it.

Mr.Black and Mr.White
"Happiness depends upon ourselves." - Aristotle
I feel the quote above is a good reference to the theme of my letter (of sorts) to Christina.
Dearest Christina,
Have you ever really truly loved someone? And I'm not talking family, or pets. I'm talking in terms of a person who you would give your life for, but at the same time would want to spend the rest of your entirety with? I don't think either of us can say we have, in fact I'll be the first to admit that. And I don't know if I really want to find that person. I don't know how I would handle those emotions, it would ruin everything, at least form my perspective. Perhaps when your in love you don't see things the same way. Being in love shouldn't be a bad thing, it should be a good thing.
Obviously, well I hope, you're not in love with either of your 'paramours'. This is the cue for the Aristotle quote. You just need to do what you believe is the right thing FOR YOU. If there is anything I've learned about having anxiety is that sometimes you cannot please everyone and thus need to center on yourself and what is healthy for you. They can just deal. If dating is what you are interested in, why not do a little something with Mr.Hipster? Just spell it out that this whole grade difference will stop you guys from having a long relationship. Then you can hop over to Mr.Chest, if he gets into St.Olaf. (which seems like a sure thing according to you)
Again, I would like to apologize about the awkwardness that ensued this morning. I had just closed my computer and was walking down the hallway when I came upon you two, and I was not strong enough to walk away from this juicy attraction right in front of me. I must admit, I KNEW he liked you the moment I read about the NPR outside by the car thing (having had a few similar late nights). It seems that night brings out confidence in boys. All dramatic things happen while the moon is out.
Here are my two cents on the issue. Mr.Hipster needs to get his ass up off the couch and TALK to you, because nothing gets done without conversation. Thus, I might have to start bringing around a stress ball so I won't slap him in the face. Also, I never remember being introduced to him by (I'm not even sure who he said) so I'll just call him a LIAR, which is true if you were in the girlfriends shoes.
Man, this letter started off so nice and formal, and now here we are. Perhaps I can salvage it?
Yours,
Elizabeth
A visual for those of you not there.

Twitter Too?
I know Meghan spends a lot of time on twitter. She has graced us with the funny sayings of Voldemort and others equally as funny.
So, it seems, I too have become a twitter fan. (Granted via my twitter app on my phone) I created on to follow Sarah Shepard. She writes the Pretty Little Liar series, and then it happened that all of the actors from Eureka have accounts. It just snowballed from then on.
So here is a photo taken from Colin Ferguson's twitter account.

Ever So True
January first marked my second year blogging. Man, has a lot gone on! Two years ago at this time I didn't think my senior year would be looking like it is right now. And I defiantly wasn't thinking about what would be 'going on' yo.
It's weird looking back and being all 'omg, look at my life' so i'll stop now because I don't like reading things like this any more then I you like to read about them.
I've been thinking a lot about swim suits recently. Basically because I'm going to be on a cruise in about a week and a half! I'm super excited and I can't wait to be wearing shorts! Maybe I should start packing...
Anyway, I have like a billion swim suits because I always seem to buy a lot. It's like if a bathing suit fits I buy it. And it musen't look hideous, ya know, just my check off list. So, under my bed in my 'summer' box (or boxes...) I have a variety of swim suits. Some I haven't even worn. Perhaps I'll be needing some advice?
Now, I'm not about to post pictures of myself in a bathing suit here. I mean, I'm happy with my body and all, but that's ranging on the pictures I don't want on the internet because of creeps area so that's just not gonna happen. If anything I'll just post a picture of the swim suit with no warm body underneath it.
Shout out to my 'driving home' buddies! Yep, I'm awkward around Molly! Go Liz!

So, St.Olaf
I, not being Christina, am now just blogging about my visit to St.Olaf. I saw her and it was awesome! I also saw Kim (mother) and Austin Sovell.
I guess I don't have to feel to bad because Christina is writing a hood-like essay for school. The only work she's done in a week for school, according to her. Personally I think she needs to just turn it in and deal with it.
So, St.Olaf, why I crawled out of my hole to blog about. I need some inspiration for blogging, any tips?
BAD Liz, yet again off topic! Okay, so the school was gorgeous! It also had the best free food, there were buffet tables all over the place, you literally walked into a room and there was a buffet table. No other school has done that. Though they did brag about their nationally ranked number one food. All according to Newsweek.
What I really enjoyed was that the dean of the school talked at the beginning of the whole thing. It was nice to be welcomed like that, gave you the feeling of beine wanted as a person and not as another paying student.
Ah, yes! A picture of the library. My favorite thing to see at colleges. Not the best (U of M is number one so far) but I can see myself doing homework in there. Plus the tall windows give off the feeling of being in one of those older libraries.
What I wasn't a huge fan of was how far away everything was from each other. Reminded me of camp a bit where we walked all the time. It's not a bad thing, getting exercise, but in the winter running across campus (and in the windy rural area) will not be fun.
Another plus, all four years you live on campus. I really like that, a sense of community and such, cookies for St.Olaf.
By far the best part was the gift shop where I got socks that say 'uff da' (so Norwegian) and there were Norwegian like things all over the place! Oh, how I love Norway! Plus, Harry Potter in NORWEGIAN! My favorite! I have the first one in English and Norwegian, but seeing the others in Norwegian totally made the trip. (I'm so studying it what ever collage I choose to go to)

Adults?
Okay, so umm....yea. I realize I have some explaining to do. Ya, know with the above picture and all. Wonder Women and Super Girl are making out, and have some things hidden by my green stars that I plopped in before uploading it. I know it's a bit more....interesting....then my normal posts. I usually don't have naked lesbian pictures, but it's not really the picture, but what it represents that drew me to it.
Even though both super heroes above have been know for having affairs with women it's fun to know in at least one persons (granted probably a sick teenage/middle aged man's) mind they are together. It shows that the two aren't afraid of being themselves, they'll spend the night together and then go and fight evil. Pretty awesome.
Also, for some reason, I find lesbian couples like this adorable (lesbian, not gay, LESBIAN!), meaning not the buch type, no offence this is so stereotypical and I apologize right now.

One Year
Exactly one year a go I started this blog with no intentions. Here we are a year later and I've actually stuck to something! I've officially become a blogger! Well, I think that was established long ago, but I'm quite proud of myself.
I wonder what this year brings? Only one more year until 2012 and the 'end of the world'. *dramatic music*
Did you know 2011 is the year of the rabbit?

DotA
This Saturday I might be going to my first ever concert. Yep, I'm 16 and have never been to a concert. Well, a real concert, I don't think Lori Line and her Christmas concerts count. The concert is for Basshunter (swedish singer of DotA and Boten Ann) and is at the Epic Event center downtown Minneapolis. Dad will be going with me (if he gives the okay to go), which won't really rain on my parade because it's Basshunter and that's all I'll be focusing on.
In other news, I need to talk with Sonia. What's up with the Harry Potter thing? I want to go and Mom says it's fine so I need details yo!
I heard Christina will soon be joining our ranks of bloggers. She want's Sonia to help her with starting it, but at this rate it won't be anytime soon. Get your rear in gear Sonia!
Blogging with no structure after the past 100 days of movies is a bit odd. It may take me a bit to get back into the grove, but I'll be back to my old self and posting every day.

Parking Lot
The little girl is no more then ten years old. Wearing a tank top from Aeropostal (which is too big for her) and stretchy gauchos. Her platinum blond hair is not fake like many, but instead shimmers in the setting sun.
"Gretchen and I used to do that," I say to Dad while pointing out the little girl. She races across the parking lot aisle and slams the car into the cart corral. "And now look at us. Two lumps on a wart hog."
I'm going off technology for the next week. No laptop, no internet what so ever, and no TV. I'm not going completely hard on myself, I'll have my cell phone and ipod, but only for music. I'm trying to reconnect with the old ten-year-old Liz.
Laugh all you want, I'm doing this and I'm not going to crack. So, good bye my TV shows, till next time (a.k.a next week) I hope you have a lovely week while I bask in the glow of nature and lack of technology.

Nothing To Fear
In FDR's first inaugural address he said something that would be said many more times in thousands of speeches. The only thing we have to fear is fear its self. If more people would take this sentence literally insurance and security companies would be out of business. But, on a more serious note, kids wouldn't be scared to talk in class, children could sleep well at night, and mothers wouldn't buy excessive amounts of padding for when their kids rollerblade. People would be a little more loose.
The number one question:
What is Liz afraid of?
1. The dark
2. Murders
3. Hobos who live on her roof
4. Failing
5. Ear hair
6. Guys with socks on
7. Friends/family dying
8. Creepers in the airport/mall/theater
9. WW III
10. Shopping
11. Lizard people who live under the earth
12. The movie psycho
13. The quote "a boys best friend is his mother."
14. Death by electrocution/starvation/drowning (or buried alive)
15. Invisible man killing me in my sleep
16. Swimming pools
17. Fairs
18. Amusement parks
19. Lack of maps
20. Food courts
So, what 20 things are you scared of?

Shun The Nonbeliever
My sister, Gretchen, has decided to create a blog. As of last night she has started and posted twice. In both posts I am made to look like a raving lunatic, I am not. Still, if you want to enjoy it, here is the link.

My Offer To You
It has come to my attention that we (the bloging club) have come to a standstill of sorts. We seem to be inconsistently blogging, which is fine, but days even weeks between last post is not good for you or your readers.
So, being the person I am, I have come up with a solution. A blog-a-thon! Doesn't that sound fun?
Who ever wants to participate can, but once you start you have to make a pact to not stop. This is a pure self promise thing. I'm not making anyone sign on the dotted line. Just if you're maybe kinda' interested comment below.
Now the fun stuff. Each day for a week I will give you a word/phrase/topic that you will have to blog about. You can be creative as you want, but the idea is to make blogging fun again.
For example, say on Monday I give you the word Panda. You could write a pome, post pictures, tell us your opinions on the animals, or even give us the link to the Snapple commercial the pandas are in.
I will post the list this coming Sunday so you have a heads up for the week and the contest will go from midnight on the 23ed to midnight of the 30th. Start as soon as you want on Monday, I'll be blogging along with the list too, but I won't officially be in the contest.
Aside from the feeling of a job well done I will also be giving out prizes that the winners can proudly display on their blog sidebar, or can totally forget about.
Sign up while your thinking and keep checking in!

Relaxation Day Indeed!
What did Liz do when she got home?

She looked at this...
...then she saw this and agreed....
....and she about fell out of her chair laughing at Robert and Victoria....
....and then felt for Michelle Obama.....
...and became very proud to be a Norwegian.....

...finally she updated her blog after being on her computer for four hours straight.
*note, click on pictures to get better image, you'll thank me later. Also none are mine! Find them here.

I See You
I have very intelligent friends. I can't stand being around people who don't know what their talking about. So, if you know me and you know for a fact that I like you then your safe. I guess it's just one of my odd pet peeves, with the other being talking to people when I'm in a dressing room. Out of the many intelligent people I'm going to talk about just one, the Piano extraordinaire, Sonia.
You would think she would be smart enough to hid her blog URL better, but no. It's not that she's computer retarded. No, in fact in eight grade her blog for Civics was amazing. She's good, like better than me good. I know, hard to find....
So here's a message to you Sonia. If you don't want people reading your blog then don't comment (multiple times) on Meghan's blog. You don't think I'd check my own wife's blog? Now that I (and Courtney) have the URL good luck getting us not to creep on you.
May the best stalker win.
You Married A What?
Today during lunch Meghan had a....let's call it spaz attack. It's not her fault, in no way is it her fault. I think the person to blame here is the blog inventor and bacteria.
You see, Meghan went out with friends on Friday and then proceeded to lay in bed all of Saturday because she was feeling like crap. What do you do when you're sick? Well I, personally, watch movies all day and lay around on the couch. Apparently Meghan enjoys updating her blog....constantly....
I came home from my weekend and saw that she had about a million updates to her blog and the whole time she was ranting (of course, I like those post the most) and then she was talking to the readers and...oh boy...I was concerned.
So, Meghan was telling us at lunch about her long weekend and how her mom told her to take this medicine this morning which made her crazy and poor Ragan was just sitting their shocked by the whole thing. I don't think Meghan has ever talked that much in one sitting.
I've come to this conclusion:
1. Ragan is very innocent
2. I should never go anywhere without a computer
3. I married a crack whore
Love you Meghan

Me Amore!
Dear Meghan,
How are ya'll doin'? Do you like my southern drall? I think it's coolcopter, and yes that's a word. I stalked you today, hope you don't mind.
Meghan doesn't like that I (along with others) stalk her blog. Too bad she should of thought of this before she made one! So if you also want to creep on her go here. iwantmoremeghan enjoy!
p.s. just for you Meghan I'm gonna' say this. PSYCH is on tonight! Wahoo!

Liz's Comment
So, remember when I posted the story about the women who read in the fishing boat? Well, I told you I found the website where it came from and that it was called Liz's Blog. Very nice name by the way. I made a comment and guess what she commented back!
I think I found another blog to stalk.....

My Resloution
New year's resolutions. I usually don't make them, and I really don't know why. Sometimes I do, but really it's like, why? I don't end up doing them anyway or I don't think I need to improve on anything. This year I am making a resolution: be nicer to Meheer.
The plays went really well again, but a tougher crowed. They laughed, but last nights was better. The phone worked tonight, great job kiely! I'm gonna' miss everyone, I hate that it's over.
"I love your blog, it's so cute!" - Mikaela. Gracias, love you darling, you make my day!
Churck starts tomorrow, it's the season premier. Courtney has been watching the second season this past week, it's really good. I can't wait! Tomorrow at 8! Wade agrees, it's amazing, if you haven't seen it you're deprived of life.
