Homer Knew Best

I'd never detain you here too long, Telemachus,
not if your heart is set on going home.
I'd fault with another host, I'm sure,
too warm to his guests, too pressing or too cold.
Balance is best in all things. It's bad either way,
spurring the stranger home who wants to linger,
holding the one who longs to leave - you know,
'welcome the coming, speed the parting guest!'

-Menelaus from The Odyssey (homer) pg 321 Book 15 (the prince sets sail for home)

I really couldn't tell you why, but I like this quote, a lot.

the odyssey hurts (my head)!! but i really like your little slogan underneath the headline--tough times never last, but tough people do. makes me feel good. (better than the old one haha).
